CRO White Label — Quick Answers
We need read-only access to Google Analytics 4 (Viewer role) and the heatmap tool (Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity). If the client doesn't have a heatmap tool installed, we can set up Microsoft Clarity (it's free) via GTM. We do not need CMS or dev access for the audit — only for A/B test implementation on the Audit + Tests plan.
The standard audit covers up to 5 key pages — typically homepage, category/collection page, product/landing page, cart, and checkout. You tell us which pages matter most for conversion. Additional pages can be added for $80/page. Enterprise plans have no page limit.
On the Audit + A/B Tests plan, we run the tests. We design the variant, implement it via Google Optimize (or VWO/Optimizely if the client uses those), set up the experiment, and monitor it until statistical significance is reached (typically 2–4 weeks). On the basic Audit plan, we deliver the roadmap and your client's team implements.
We primarily use Google Optimize (or its successors), VWO, and Optimizely. For Shopify stores without a testing tool, we can implement tests via theme duplication + traffic splitting. We'll recommend the right tool based on the client's stack and budget.
For the audit, any traffic level works — we can analyse heatmaps and session recordings with as few as 200 monthly sessions. For A/B testing to reach statistical significance in a reasonable time, we recommend at least 1,000 monthly visitors on the page being tested. Lower traffic means longer test durations (6–8 weeks vs. 2–3 weeks).
We recommend positioning it as a "conversion audit" included with any new ad campaign launch, or as a standalone upsell to existing clients running paid ads. The pitch: "Before we spend another dollar on ads, let's make sure the landing page can convert that traffic."
