Screen recording, audio extraction and local transcription for the CaptureLab 360 Chrome extension.

CaptureLab 360 for Mac

macOS 13.3 Ventura or later · Apple silicon and Intel · about 200 MB · free download, Pro unlocked with a license key

A signed and Apple-notarized build is being prepared. The version number and SHA-256 checksum will be published here with the download.

Setup

Ready in three steps.

  1. Install the app

Open the downloaded file and move CaptureLab 360 to your Applications folder, then open it. The app is signed and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it without security warnings.

  2. Connect it to Chrome

Install the CaptureLab 360 extension from the Chrome Web Store if you have not already. When the app starts, it registers the secure local connection to Chrome automatically. If Record or Audio still says the companion is unavailable, restart Chrome.

  3. Allow recording permissions

The first time you record, macOS asks for Screen Recording and, if you use your voice, Microphone access. Approve them in System Settings → Privacy & Security, then return to the extension.
