The public Chrome Web Store link will appear on this page after review. Once published:
- Open the CaptureLab 360 listing in the Chrome Web Store.
- Click Add to Chrome and review the permissions.
- Pin CaptureLab 360 from Chrome's Extensions menu for quick access.
- Open an ordinary website and click the CaptureLab 360 icon.
Capture the visible area
- Open the page you want to capture.
- Click the CaptureLab 360 toolbar icon.
- Choose Visible area.
- The PNG is saved locally and the editor opens in a neighboring browser tab.
Capture a selected area
- Choose Selected area.
- Drag over the portion of the page you need.
- Confirm the selection. The result opens in the local editor.
Capture a complete page
- Choose Full page.
- Keep the source tab open while CaptureLab 360 scans the scrolling container.
- To finish early, click Stop scanning. The completed portion is still saved.
- Very long pages may be exported as numbered WebP parts.
Fixed headers, sidebars and floating widgets are managed during capture to reduce repeated elements. Some highly dynamic pages may still require a reload before capture.
Annotate and redact
Every screenshot opens in a neighboring tab. The editor provides arrows, frames, freehand marks, highlights, text, solid redaction, undo, redo, clipboard copy and local export.
Use solid redaction before sharing confidential captures. Cropping or placing an opaque block permanently over sensitive text is safer than a translucent blur when the recipient must not recover the original information.
Choose an export format
- WebP: recommended for long pages and smaller files.
- PNG: recommended for crisp interfaces, text and lossless editing.
- JPEG: useful for pages dominated by photography.
Optional screen recording
The Record tab can capture a selected Chromium tab with tab audio and microphone. Recording requires the separately installed CaptureLab 360 desktop companion. Files remain local. If the companion is unavailable, screenshot functionality continues to work normally.
