Capture workflow

Everything needed to explain what is on your screen.

CaptureLab 360 keeps the common actions close and moves every result into a neighboring browser tab for focused editing.

Visible area

Capture exactly what is visible in the active browser tab and open it immediately in the editor.

Selected region

Drag over the area you need and exclude the rest of the page before saving or annotating.

Complete page

Automatically scan a scrolling page while managing fixed interface elements and complex layouts.

Stop and keep

Stop a long scan at any time. The portion already captured is completed and saved instead of discarded.

Annotate and redact

Add arrows, frames, freehand marks, highlights, text and solid redaction before sharing.

Optional recording

Record the selected Chromium tab with tab audio and microphone through the local macOS companion.

Local-first privacy

Your capture does not need a cloud detour.

Screenshots, annotations and recordings remain under your control unless you explicitly choose to share the exported file.

FAQ

Straight answers before installation.

No. Screenshot capture, stitching, annotation, redaction and image export run locally. CaptureLab 360 does not create public links or automatic cloud copies.
The original capture is saved through Chrome's Downloads system. A temporary local copy opens in the neighboring editor tab. Edited exports are saved through Chrome as well.
Yes. Click Stop scanning while capture is running. CaptureLab 360 finishes and saves the part that has already been captured.
Browsers impose maximum canvas dimensions and memory limits. Splitting into WebP segments preserves readability and prevents a failed or truncated export.
Chrome prevents extensions from accessing protected browser pages, including most chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store. Ordinary websites can be captured.
Not for screenshots or editing. The desktop companion is optional and is needed only for the native local recording workflow.
