Quick troubleshooting

  1. Reload the page you want to capture.
  2. Confirm that it is an ordinary website rather than a protected Chrome page.
  3. Open chrome://extensions, find CaptureLab 360 and click Reload after installing a new local build.
  4. Try Visible area first to confirm that the extension is active.
  5. For full-page capture, close page overlays or dialogs that intentionally block scrolling.
  6. For recording, confirm that the optional desktop companion is installed and permitted by macOS.

Known platform restrictions

  • Chrome settings pages, the Chrome Web Store and some other protected browser surfaces cannot be captured.
  • Pages that actively prevent scripted scrolling may require a reload or may only support visible-area capture.
  • Exceptionally long pages are divided into multiple WebP files to remain within browser memory and canvas limits.
  • Recording is optional and requires the local desktop companion; screenshots do not.

Report an incorrectly captured page

Include the following information:

  • Browser name and version
  • Operating system version
  • Capture type: visible area, selected area or full page
  • Public page URL, if it is safe to share
  • What you expected
  • What happened instead
  • A screenshot of the problem, if it contains no confidential information

Protect sensitive information

Do not email passwords, authentication tokens, payment data or an unredacted capture containing confidential information. If a page URL requires authentication, describe the page type and reproduction steps instead.
