Quick troubleshooting
- Reload the page you want to capture.
- Confirm that it is an ordinary website rather than a protected Chrome page.
- Open
chrome://extensions, find CaptureLab 360 and click Reload after installing a new local build. - Try Visible area first to confirm that the extension is active.
- For full-page capture, close page overlays or dialogs that intentionally block scrolling.
- For recording, confirm that the optional desktop companion is installed and permitted by macOS.
Known platform restrictions
- Chrome settings pages, the Chrome Web Store and some other protected browser surfaces cannot be captured.
- Pages that actively prevent scripted scrolling may require a reload or may only support visible-area capture.
- Exceptionally long pages are divided into multiple WebP files to remain within browser memory and canvas limits.
- Recording is optional and requires the local desktop companion; screenshots do not.
Report an incorrectly captured page
Include the following information:
- Browser name and version
- Operating system version
- Capture type: visible area, selected area or full page
- Public page URL, if it is safe to share
- What you expected
- What happened instead
- A screenshot of the problem, if it contains no confidential information
Protect sensitive information
Do not email passwords, authentication tokens, payment data or an unredacted capture containing confidential information. If a page URL requires authentication, describe the page type and reproduction steps instead.
